    What is Discovery Club?
     
    Saint Paul Public Schools Discovery Club provides out-of-school time childcare in a fun, safe, caring environment that supports children’s learning and development. Discovery Club is a fee-based program offered through the Community Education Department of Saint Paul Public Schools to families with children currently enrolled in Pre-K through 5th grade.
     
    What happens in Discovery Club?
    Children participate in a variety of fun and engaging enrichment activities that provide them with hands-on opportunities to learn and practice academic, social and physical skills.
     
    Who supervises the children? 
    Discovery Club staff are the heart of our program. Staff are educated, experienced adults who have a passion for engaging students in fun and educational activities. Discovery Club staff receive on-going professional development on behavior guidance, activity planning, youth development, and first aid/CPR training.
     
    Where is Discovery Club located?
    Discovery Club is available to students enrolled in Saint Paul Public elementary schools in all SPPS district assigned areas. Each area has a “hub” location that serves all students in that area. If Discovery Club is not offered at your school, you may enroll your student in the Discovery Club hub location assigned to your area and your student will receive transportation to/from the school they are enrolled in.
     
    Does Discovery Club charge a fee? Is financial assistance available?
    The fee for attending Discovery Club depends upon the number of days your child attends the program and the schedule you choose. Financial assistance through the county may be available to eligible families. Parents may contact Think Small at 651-641-6665 or Ramsey County at 651-266-4444. 
     
    How do I apply?  
    You may apply online at stpaul.ce.eleyo.com. Registrations are accepted as space is available; an e-mail confirmation will be sent notifying families whether their registration has been accepted.  If you have questions about the registration process, call the Discovery Club Administrative Office at 651-632-3793.
     
    How do I print my childcare tax statement
    Tax statments are available to download through your existing online account.  The most recent tax statement will become available on January 1st of the following year.  Directions on how to pull the tax statment can be found here.
