• A message from SPPS Community Education

We have prepared for fall knowing that each member of our community is experiencing the impacts of multiple crises with different resources and different needs. The Community Education team is leaning into our collective belief that connection matters and hope that our programs offered can help create moments of joy for you, your family, and friends.

Community Education has programs available for all ages to live, love, and learn locally this fall. Adults who want to learn English, complete a GED, get ready for college, or train for a job, Adult Basic Education can help. Discovery Club offers childcare for school-age children; see what we have to offer in our program. Parents of children, birth through kindergarten, can join an Early Childhood Family Education class to connect with other families, find community resources, and learn from early childhood teachers and parent education teachers.

Community Education classes will be mostly online for Fall 2020. Registration will start on September 1st. Most classes will have flexible payment options and many youth programs will have a no-cost option. When registering for a class, you will choose the price option that works for you.

We hope to see you soon. Be safe, be well, and stay connected.

    In power and partnership,

    The Community Education Team

    Karen
