HELLO Frost Lake Families!

My name is Ms. Perrotta. I am very excited to be your 4th-grade teacher and truly excited to join the Frost Lake faculty! I have just returned back to Minnesota after living in Florida for 24 years. I am thrilled to be back home with my family.

I graduated from the College of St. Benedicts and worked in marketing and sales for the following companies: Travelers Express Company, PRODIGY/IBM, and Astra Zeneca Pharmaceuticals. I stayed home with my daughters until they were school age. I started as a substitute teacher and found my true passion – teaching children. I went back to college to obtain my teaching degree. I have been a public school teacher for 15 years in Florida – with 8 years in 4th grade.

I have two daughters. My youngest daughter, Emilia attends the San Francisco Conservatory of Music for Vocal Performance. She wants to be an opera singer. My oldest daughter, Teresa, graduated with her Master's and Associate's Doctorate from the Cincinnati Conservatory of Music. She is an opera singer and currently singing for Santa Fe Opera. I have a lovely 5-year-old dog named Lady.

My years of experience as a teacher have helped me form a teaching philosophy that guides how I help my students succeed in the classroom and beyond. I truly believe that their success begins with making them comfortable in the classroom, so I start our school year with plenty of activities so everyone can get to know one another.
