Mr. Larson

Mr. Larson began teaching at Frost Lake Elementary in January of 2000, after completing his student teaching experience at Frost Lake. He received his Bachelor's Degree in Elementary Education from Augsburg College. He then received his Masters Degree in Differentiated Instruction from Concordia University in 2009. Mr. Larson started his career teaching fifth grade, then spent many years teaching first, third, fourth and fifth grade.

When Mr Larson is not at school, he enjoys being outside. Mr. Larson is a very passionate Golden Gopher football fan. He also enjoys spending time reading each night.

Mr. Larson currently lives with his wife and daughter. They also have two wonderful dogs named Chloe and Mocha. The Larson’s love to spend time together as a family walking, camping, playing or just talking.

Mr. Larson absolutely loves working with the students at Frost Lake. He has spent the last twenty-four years teaching at Frost and can’t imagine a better place to be. The students that he has had the honor of teaching have inspired him to keep learning new things. Mr. Larson believes that school should be a fun place to be and learning can and should be fun!
