Leadership Announcement at LEAP High School
Dear LEAP High School Community,
I am pleased to share with you that I have selected a new leader for LEAP High School. Please join me in welcoming Be Vang as your school’s principal beginning in the 2023-24 school year. We are grateful for Principal Santos and her 43 years of service to Saint Paul Public Schools and 21 years at LEAP. We wish her the best in retirement.
Principal Vang has been the principal at Harding High School for four years. She was an SPPS teacher for 12 years, and has also held leadership positions at Frost Lake Elementary, Phalen Lake Hmong Studies and Mississippi Creative Arts. Principal Vang is an SPPS grad (Highland Park Senior High School) and earned her Bachelor’s Degree at St. Cloud State University and her Master’s Degree at Winona State University. She holds her Administrative License from the University of Minnesota.
Principal Vang looks forward to partnering with families, students, staff and the community to continue the great work at LEAP High School.
Principal Santos and Principal Vang will work together to ensure a smooth transition and a strong start to the new school year. To help, please take a moment to complete a short survey.
