Hello and thank you for visiting my page. I was born in Lima, Peru and I grew up in Minnesota. I speak English, Spanish, Portuguesse and know basic American Sign Language. I love learning new languages and more about all cultures.

I earned my Bachelor's degree in Social and Global Studies with an emphasis in Environmental Policy from Antioch College in 1994. I earned my Master's degree in Counseling and Student Personnel Psychololgy from the Univeristy of MN, Twin Cities in 2003. 

I started working as a school counselor at LEAP High School in the 2019-2020 school year and have worked as a school counselor with Saint Paul Public Schools since the 2007-2008 school year. I work with students and families in the areas of academics, career exploration, college planning, and personal/emotional wellness.
