MA in Education from University of St. Thomas; St. Paul, Minnesota, licensed in secondary social studies.

Added a license in ESL from Hamline University, St. Paul, Minnesota.

Taught at LEAP High full time since 2005, prior to that taught evening classes at LEAP and taught social studies at Ramsey Junior High. 

Prior to beginning a teaching career spent many years cooking in restaurants, working customer service, painting, and nearly any other job imaginable.  Worked as a professional musician since age 13 and continues to perform more than 100 shows a year.
