My name is May Nhia Vang and and this is my 4th year teaching 4th grade and 21 years in the district. I've always taught at LNFI and during my years here I've taught 2nd grade, 3rd grade and I have been a GT and art specialists.

I graduated from the University of Stanilaus in California and had my Bachelor degree in Elementary and bilingualism.  I moved to Minnesota in 1998 where I first had my first  (and still) job at the French Immersion.  I was ecstatic as I had the opportunity to teach students and use the language I grew up with.

The greatest reward is to see  my student excited about learning and being emphatic towards others.    

My husband, son and I enjoy taking road trips and discover new places.  This summer we drove to Montana to visit the Glaciers and on the way home we visited Yellowstone.
