Hi, I'm Salma

A bilingual EL teacher. I was born in Misrata, Libya, and have lived there for most of my life. I have also lived and studied abroad. I studied in Jordan, at Yarmouk University, for four years. Then I worked at Misrata University, Faculty of Arts, for seven years after my graduation. My bachelor's degree is in English language and literature; I really enjoyed those years as I love reading poetry and novels.

In May 2023, I graduated from University of Minnesota. I got a master's degree in TESOL (Teaching English as a Second Language). I have been teaching English for 10 years in private and public schools, so I am always eager to learn more about this profession. 

In my free time, I love cooking, reading, and cycling. Biking is my favorite hobby and I'm lucky because my kids love cycling as well! I also love traveling to different places around the world. I have been to many countries, but these are my favorite countries: the US, Tunisia, and Jordan.
