My name is Eunsil Kang, and I am an EL teacher. I am so happy teaching my EL students this year!  This is my second year teaching at Highwood Hills. I was born, raised, and educated in Seoul, South Korea. I was also a teacher in Korea. I moved to MN to study Special Education and English as a Second Language. I have earned three master’s degrees and four teaching licenses.

I live with my husband and two beautiful daughters. I have traveled to many countries all around the world and have been to over 25 states in the U.S.  I go to Korea every summer to see my parents, relatives, and friends. I am blessed to have a close family who love and care for each other. Last summer, my family traveled to Korea, Singapore, Bali in Indonesia, and Jeju Island. 

I love spending time with my family, traveling, walking, reading, writing, cooking, baking, gardening, swimming, listening to my girls play music, and watching them play sports. I am a huge foodie! I like seafood, fruits, vegetables, dark chocolate, and sweet treats.
