My name is Khadra Ali and I am one of the first grade teachers at Highwood Hills. I have graduated from Metropolitan State University with a Bachelor’s degree in Elementary Educations. I have been a bi-lingual Education Assistant in Saint Paul School for nearly 20 years, spending fifteen years at Highwood Hills as a parent liaison and bi=lingual Somali EA. I love Saint Paul Public Schools because of it’s diversity and the district’s emphasis on equity. This is my second year as the first grade teacher at Highwood Hills, and I enjoy working with students at this age level to inspire their future.
