My name is Brent Vyvyan. I will be your child’s fifth grade teacher for the 2022-2023 school year. I attended collage at Winona State University in Winona. I am looking forward to an exciting year with you and your child. I love to watch fifth graders become more confident and independent workers. This is my 4th year at Highwood Hills and 11^th year teaching.  I have taught 2^nd, 5^th, 6^th and 7^th grades. Needless to say. I am so very excited to be teaching at Highwood Hills again this year.

My wife Adreianna and I have four children. Philomena is 6. She is in 1^st grade this fall. Virginia is 4 years old. She loves copping her sister.  Blaise is 2 years old and a great baby boy, and Ambrose 6 months old!  I am a BIG packer Fan! GO PACK GO! I enjoyed staying active by lifting, running, and biking. I love spending time with my family. I also enjoy cooking and traveling. One unique thing about me is that I am a twin.

Throughout the year I will sending home updates about what is happening in Room 1603. Each month you will receive a newsletter where you find information about upcoming events, specialist, lunch, and subjects we are studying.
