Speech-Language Pathologist 

Ms. Chantelle has been working at Riverview for the past four years. She attended both the University of Minnesota as well as St. Cloud State University and earned both a Bachelor of Individualized Studies and a Master’s Degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders. She also holds the American Speech-Language Hearing Association’s (ASHA’s) Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC). She is the Speech-Language Pathologist here at Riverview and provides services in both English and Spanish for students in PreK- 5th grades.  She is also a Bilingual Spanish/English assessment coach, consulting on and completing bilingual assessments in other schools around the district.

When she is not at school, Ms. Chantelle enjoys spending time with her husband, baby boy, and two cats. She lives just outside of Minneapolis and likes to explore the twin cities. She also likes to spend time outside and travel to warm places, especially those by the ocean.

Ms. Chantelle loves working as a Speech-Language Pathologist at Riverview! She enjoys the linguistic and cultural diversity of working in a Dual Immersion school. Seeing and working with the students at Riverview as they grow and learn is the best part of her job!

La Sra. Chantelle ha estado trabajando en Riverview durante los últimos cuatro años. Asistió a la Universidad de Minnesota y a la Universidad Estatal de St. Cloud y obtuvo una Licenciatura en Estudios Individualizados y una Maestría en Ciencias de la Comunicación y Trastornos. También posee el Certificado de Competencia Clínica (CCC) de la American Speech-Language Hearing Association (ASHA). Ella es la patóloga del habla y lenguaje aquí en Riverview y ofrece servicios en inglés y español para estudiantes de PreK-5to grado. También es entrenadora de evaluación bilingüe español / inglés, y completa evaluaciones bilingües en otras escuelas del distrito.

Cuando no está en la escuela, la Sra. Chantelle disfruta pasar tiempo con su esposo, su bebé y sus dos gatos. Ella vive cerca de Minneapolis y le gusta explorar las ciudades gemelas. También le gusta pasar tiempo al aire libre y viajar a lugares cálidos, especialmente aquellos junto al océano.
