Yo empecé a trabajar en Riverview en el año 2017.  Conseguí mi Bachelor of Arts de Carleton College y mi Masters en Educación de la Universidad de Minnesota.  Antes de trabajar en Riverview, enseñé primero de primaria en una escuela publica de Madrid y también trabajé como maestra de español en Hopkins. 

Cuando no estoy en la escuela me gusta ir a correr y hacer yoga en el YMCA.  ¡Mudé a St. Paul hace poco y me encanta explorar zonas nuevas de la ciudad, en particular el West Side de St. Paul!

¡Me encanta enseñar tercer grado en Riverview!  Me esfuerzo a celebrar las experiencias, sabiduría, y voces de los estudiantes en nuestra clase.  Me emociona aprender con los niños de tercer grado cada día.  Quiero apoyar a todos mis estudiantes y también darles desafíos para que crezcan tomando nuevos retos.

I began working at Riverview Elementary in 2017.  I earned a Bachelor of Arts Degree from Carleton College and a Master’s in Education from the University of Minnesota.  Before working at Riverview, I taught first grade for two years in a public school in Madrid and worked for three years teaching Spanish in an elementary school in Hopkins. 

When I am not at school I like going for runs outside or doing yoga at the YMCA.  I recently moved to St. Paul and love exploring new neighborhoods, especially the West Side!

I love teaching third grade at Riverview!  I strive to center and celebrate students’ experiences, knowledge, and voices in the classroom.  It is exciting to learn with third-grade students each day.  I want to support students and also challenge them to take on new difficult tasks and to grow.
