Hello Riverview Eagles!!! Mr. Woods is the new School Counselor at Riverview this year. He received is Master’s in School Counseling from UW-River Falls in 2019 and has a Bachelor's in Mathematics and Education in 2013 from St. Olaf College. Before joining the Riverview team he worked as an Academic Advisor for Century College’s college preparation TRIO Educational Talent Search (ETS).

In his spare time Mr. Woods likes to spend time with his family and friends playing games like Family Feud and UNO. When he isn’t doing that he likes to get involved in recreation sports and movie marathons.

Originally from Palm Coast, Florida Mr. Woods moved to the Twin Cities in 2009 and since then he  has learned to snowboard and dress warm enough for the winters. Most of Mr. Woods’ family lives in Florida but his fiance and son were born in the Twin Cities. 

Mr. Woods is looking forward to getting to know the Riverview community and hopes that he can add to an already positive school climate. Mr. Woods believes that learning is a lifelong process and knows how important supporting our youth is to ensuring a better future for the world.
