Minnesota Department of Education Report Card

  • About the Minnesota Report Card

The Minnesota Report Card gives you easy access to understandable district and school data.

This tool is designed to provide parents, educators, schools, districts, and citizens with easy access to district and school informationtest resultsdemographic information and other critical data in a centralized location. Choose from several reports to learn more about the state of education in your local district, a specific school, or the state as a whole.

To get started, choose a report from the menu on the right.

This interactive tool was recently updated to be mobile device friendly, giving you access to school, district, and state education data wherever you are!

For information about interpreting and using the data on the Minnesota Report Card and MDE Data center, please see the Minnesota Report Card Information Guide.

    IMPORTANT NOTE:
As part of Minnesota’s transition to the Every Student Succeeds Act (ESSA), the "School Performance" and "Federal Accountability" reports will be removed on July 27, 2017, as they report information that is no longer applicable under ESSA. This means that Multiple Measurements Rating (MMR) and Adequate Yearly Progress (AYP) data will no longer be found on this page as of July 27, 2017.

New reports based on ESSA’s accountability and school support requirements will be released for the 2018-19 school year.

For more information on the transition to ESSA, please visit the ESSA page of MDE website. If you have questions, please email mde.essa@state.mn.us or call 651-582-8800.
