I have taught in public schools for over 20 years.  I have a Master's degree in Special Education with emphasis on Learning Disabilities and I've also taught at the graduate level, instructing educators in areas of Differentiating Instruction, Inclusion, and Special Education.  I am a huge advocate for inclusive learning!  Whenever possible, I prefer to support students right in their general education classrooms so that they don't miss out on any grade level content and we can apply skills directly to what students are learning.  In certain situations, however, some instruction is best taught in a pull-out setting.  It is important to me that we all work as a team.  I prefer to collaborate with families to find the perfect balance!

When I'm not teaching, I'm usually spending time with my own kiddos or working on writing and recording music!
