Heidi Koury brings a wealth of experience in helping all students feel represented and accepted for who they are. She has served as an elementary teacher and administrator in SPPS for almost 20 years. Mrs. Koury understands the importance of collaborating with staff and families and embracing the unique gifts that each child brings. Throughout her career, she has created school-wide systems to improve student achievement, strengthened reading, writing and math programming, and built a positive school culture through relationships with students, staff and families. 

Mrs. Koury has excellent academic qualifications with a Bachelor of Science degree in elementary education from Minnesota State University Mankato, and a Master of Arts degree in educational leadership from Concordia University, and a Superintendent License through Minnesota State University Mankato.
