It’s hard to believe we have almost reached the end of what has been the most unpredictable, disrupted, emotional, all-encompassing school year of my and, I’m willing to bet, all of your careers in education. There is a lot of work ahead of us. But for now, it is time to pause, reflect and, most important of all, to say thank you.

June 6 Heat Advisory Message
This evening, families will receive a phone call about the hot weather. The National Weather Service has issued a Heat Advisory for the Twin Cities through 6 p.m. Tuesday, and high temperatures in the 90s are expected later into the week.

June 2021 Important Information from Payroll & Benefits

Harding Senior Creates Milk Carton Holder for Students Who Need It
Orion Vang, an elementary student at The Heights Community School, is unable to open his milk, cereal or fruit cup on his own because he has limited use of one of his arms. His teacher, Debra Godfrey, approached Jamie Thompson, a physics teacher and creator of the Harding High School Makerspace, to find a solution.

The Bush Foundation announced its 2021 Bush Fellowship recipients, and Central High School Assistant Principal Salma Hussein is one of the 24 fellows selected from 538 applicants.
