My name is Tina Westawker and I have been teaching kindergarten in Saint Paul Public Schools for over 26 years. I grew up and live in Saint Paul. I attended the Saint Paul Public schools and graduated from Central Highschool in 1990.  I went across the field to Concordia College for my early childhood and teaching degrees.   I am married and have 4 children. My oldest son Dylan, now lives outside of Boston and is married.  My other son Luke is in graduate school in Illinois.   My daugher Annie is in college in Florida and wants to become a nurse midwife and my younget  daughter goes to Central High School.    I love animals and have 2 dogs and 3 cats.  We also foster kittens for the Humane Society.  I love the outdoors and working in my flower garden.  I love taking walks with my dogs and I enjoy horseback riding, camping, reading and being at home.  I love teaching kindergarten.  I love the energy and enthusiasm of 5 year old kids and I enjoy watching them grow into learners who love school.
