  • The Saint Paul Bobcats High School Girls Lacrosse Program is open to all Saint Paul Public School students in grades 7-12. Players are expected to work hard, be resilient, and build up one another. Prior lacrosse experience is not required. The program sponsors teams at the Varsity and JV levels. Each competes in the Minnesota State High School League Spring Season which runs from early April to late May with playoffs running in early June. The Saint Paul Bobcats are a cooperative sponsorship amongst all the Saint Paul Public High Schools.

    Regular Season: April 3-June 8, 2023

    Post-Season:
    Varsity: June 8-17, 2023
    JV: TBD

    Tryouts: TBD. *Tryouts are to help with team placement. No cuts are made.

    Home Field: Central Senior High School, Griffin Stadium

    Practice Field/Schedule:
    Weeknights - TBD
    Saturdays - TBD

    Equipment/Gear: All players receive team warm-ups that they keep. Game uniforms are provided by SPPS. Players are encouraged to bring their own stick and protective equipment (mouth guard, cleats, goggles), however, the equipment can be provided, by request, for those who need it.

    Participation Fees (2):

    1. $150 SPPS Participation Fee - *$45 for athletes who qualify for free and reduced lunch. Checks should be made payable to Central HS Athletics and be turned in directly to Central HS when uniforms are distributed. DO NOT turn your checks into a non-Central athletic office.
    2. There is a booster club fee of $200 that pays for assistant coaches, team warm-ups, banquet costs, and other team opportunities. *This fee is optional for players who cannot afford it. Details will be emailed separately.
