The sixth grade math course focuses on developing algebraic reasoning by recognizing patterns and functions. The course builds number fluency to include fractions, decimals, percents, factors and multiples as tools to represent real world phenomena with symbols. Students will also study 2D and 3D geometric figures, measurement and proportion. These tools will aid students in thinking logically and developing their critical thinking and creating problem solving skills.
