EDL Music
On Mondays and Wednesdays after school from 3:00pm to 5:00pm, middle school students have the opportunity through our EDL (Extended Day Learning) program to work with our drum teacher Ama. During this drumming course, Ama will introduce students to different percussive techniques including West African drumming, Caribbean drumming, and drum set playing. Additionally during this time, instrumental music teacher Ben Gualtieri conducts pull out lessons by instrument. This allows our 6-8th grade students extra time to have more individualized and focused learning on the instruments.
