English 9/10

At Creative Arts we teach 9/10 English because we believe in the power of communication. Forming and delivering a message and understanding the messages of others are essential life skills. This course is designed on a rotating loop; a strong focus on independent reading, technical writing skills, and research takes place in year one. During this year students explore a wide range of artistic mediums to help deepen their understanding. The following year students are challenged to build on their English skills, using the art form of photography to explore concepts of literature and nonfiction reading and writing.
