Health Assessment and Wellness Initiative to Sunset in 2021 for Some Employees
Staff members moving to the Public Employees Insurance Program (PEIP) beginning on January 1, 2021, will no longer be eligible to earn an incentive for 2021, but are still able to participate in the Wellness Initiative through 2020.

Thinking Career and College Early Fair is Feb. 22
The 16th Annual Thinking Career and College Early Fair will be held from 10:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m., Saturday, February 22, 2020 at Harding Senior High School. The purpose of the fair is to help students and families learn the importance of planning for college and careers early.

Tips to stay healthy during cold and flu season
Minnesota is currently experiencing the highest number of school outbreaks of flu in the last five years. Schools in Minnesota reported a total of 167 flu outbreaks during the week of December 21, according to the Minnesota Department of Health. SPPS reported three flu outbreaks during that same time.
