    Finding Subsidized Housing

Housing Link has a searchable database of available housing, subsidized and non-subsidized.  It has up-to-date information on Section 8 programs and waiting lists.

    Finding Market Rate Housing

These sites are commonly used websites where you can filter your housing search.

Rent.com—easy to search and has more apartments in the $600 range

Housinghub.com—has standard market rate apartment listings

Apartmentlist.com---questionnaire to narrow your search—good variety of apartments, not just high end apartments

    Apartments.com—searchable database

Craigslist.com---not accessible through SPPS computers.  Also, be careful when using

Renters Warehouse—not much for affordable apartments, mostly houses and high rent
