• RONALD M. HUBBS SCHOLARSHIP FUND

The Ronald M. Hubbs Scholarship Fund was created in 1997 by family and friends in his loving memory.  Ronald M. Hubbs, former Chairman of the St. Paul Companies, Inc., and lifelong advocate for literacy, played a crucial leadership role in bringing the issue of adult literacy to public awareness and action.  Scholarships from the Hubbs Scholarship Fund will be awarded to students at the Ronald M. Hubbs Center for Lifelong Learning in St. Paul.

The fund was created to provide scholarship awards to adult learners who are preparing to enroll in a degree granting post-secondary education program.  Up to three scholarships of a minimum of $1,000 plus a stipend for books will be awarded annually, to be paid to the enrolling academic institution subject to the conditions of the grant.  The Scholarship Awards will be recognized at the Hubbs Learner Recognition Event held the first week of June.
