How much do classes cost?
Nothing. Classes are FREE!

Who can take classes?
Adults ages 17 or older. You will take a placement test during registration to see if you qualify.
People enrolled in a K-12 school cannot attend our classes.

What time are classes at?
We offer morning, afternoon, and evening classes!
During the school year
We have classes Monday-Thursday starting at 8:30am, 9:30am,11:30am, and 12:30pm, depending on your level (and a few Friday classes). Evening classes are two or four days a week from 5:00pm-8:00pm, 5:30-7:30pm and 7:30-8:30pm.During the summer
There are fewer classes but we still have morning, afternoon, and evening options. -
Do you have online classes?
Yes! We have two options for online learning:
- Online Google Meet classes
- Distance learning

How do I register?

How long does registration take?
It will take about 2-3 hours.
You will meet with our intake staff to be enrolled in our system, take a placement test, and meet with an advisor to schedule your orientation and classes.
*Please note there is NO childcare available during registration.

When can I start a class?
Students can register for classes any time of the year.
During the school year
Our classes have monthly starts. Students can join their classes at the beginning of a month after they complete registration and orientation.During the summer
Students can start at the beginning of summer session and weekly for about a month before the end of the session. For more information about exact dates, call our front desk at 651-290-4822. -
Is there childcare?
We have a YWCA childcare at our Hubbs Center location that you can apply for. The cost is based on income. Sometimes there are scholarships that allow you to have free or reduced cost childcare!
*Please note that there is NO childcare available during registration.
Applications for childcare can take about 2 weeks to process and approve.To learn more:

How do I schedule my GED test at the Hubbs Center?
All GED tests have to be scheduled online at www.GED.com. When it asks what location you want to test at, choose the Hubbs Center.
