Kristin Hancock is a special education teacher and disability advocate at Frost Lake Elementary. She has taught in classrooms spanning from 2nd grade through college-level courses. This is Kristin’s 8th year in the St. Paul School District and her 3rd year at Frost Lake Elementary. She received her undergraduate degree in Theatre at Cornish College of the Arts, her master’s degree in Literary Arts from Brown University, and her teaching license in Special Education at St. Thomas University.

Kristin is originally from Seattle, Washington, but moved with her family to the Twin Cities in 2005. When she’s not teaching, Kristin enjoys writing, making art, spending time outdoors, traveling, and cooking with her family.

Kristin is honored to be part of the diverse community that is Frost Lake Elementary. She is a dedicated advocate for student and family equity in the classroom and our broader community.
