This class will help new learners who are college bound or College Yes students who are advancing. The class will focus on language, reading and writing skills to help ensure they are ready for college level work. Additionally, the class will build computer and organizational skills. Class projects and online work are required as part of the class completion. 

Upon successfuly completion students have an option to move into College Readiness Tier 2, or to transition into college courses based on a successful Accuplacer or classroom assessments scores. 

Students will receive support from a college and career navigator who will help with college applications, financial aide, career advice and help on campus. 

Requirements: 

• TABE Reading M or D 501-535
• High School diploma
• Motivated to go to college
