Vision: The CASS Digital Media Program is a vigorous program that  inspires, instructs, and prepares graduates to excel across the field of digital art and enter a higher track of learning in an evolving media arts realm.

Mission: The CASS media arts department strives to routinely develop eager, talented and poised young people ready to handle any challenge creative, technical, or otherwise in the evolving digital realm because of our unique position as SPPS’s lone arts magnet we can go beyond the boundaries of a comprehensive 6-12 school.

The Creative Arts Secondary School Media Arts courses offer a comprehensive, multidisciplinary approach to media creation that fosters individual exploration and innovative thinking. The Media Arts department is designed to immerse students in the video production, traditional and digital photography, digital imaging and graphic design arts. 

Students are provided with the creative and intellectual foundations as well the advance concepts for exploration, invention and discovery of their individual arts strengths and goals.

Creative Arts Secondary School is committed to educating conscientious creators by emphasizing production within the context of history, theory,  lectures, workshops, and other cultural and creative events.
