JJ Hill Parent Teacher Organization (PTO)

  • The JJ Hill Parent Teacher Organization is a nonprofit operating as a 501c3. It is a separate nonprofit entity from the school or the St. Paul School District.

The three main priorities of the JJ Hill PTO are:

    • To build our school community- through volunteering, special events, fundraising, and ongoing projects.

    • To provide information and facilitate communication between and among parents and the school and district.

    • To raise money to support learning opportunities in and out of the classroom, and to help our students and teachers with special initiatives.

In recent years, the PTO has provided funding for education in and the building of our community garden.  Our fundraising helps to support the Upper Elementary Camp Experience as well as many other ongoing activities, such as teacher appreciation, field trip support, and school wide events, recognitions, and celebrations.

If you are a parent or caregiver of a child at JJ Hill, congratulations! You are already a member of the PTO. We hope to see you at a meeting, event, or volunteering in the classroom, for a committee or fundraiser, at a field trip, or in your home. Your involvement is essential — it shows the children how much you value their education and that you support our school in providing it.

Please don't hesitate to contact us if you have an idea or concern. We look forward to working with you!
