Hidden River Middle School French teacher, Patricia Teefy, a recipient of a $4500 Fund For Teachers Grant, spent three weeks in southern France attending international workshops on best practices in teaching language, the diversity of the French cities of Nice, Marseille and Montpellier, and street art as a reflection of social issues.
She is looking forward to sharing her learning with students to help them continue to grow as global citizens.

Ms. Teefy enjoys the west African dish of “poulet yassa” (spicy chicken and rice) at an outdoor Malian restaurant in Montpellier.
