For Teachers: Changes to 2014 GED
As you know, the GED will switch to being entirely computer-based in 2014. Currently, we are working to embed digital literacy according to the Northstar Digital Literacy Standards, found here: http://www.digitalliteracyassessment.org/standards.php. Although the Northstar Standards cover the majority of what learners will need for the 2014 GED, some necessary skills are missing. Please take a moment to look at this comparison of the Northstar Standards and the skills needed to successfully pass the new GED. If you have any questions or feedback, please contact Hannah Gordon at hannah.gordon@spps.org or Pam Ampferer at pam.ampferer@spps.org.
