American Rescue Plan March 2022 Updates
Programs and initiatives funded through the American Rescue Plan (ARP) and ESSER funds are underway across the district. With 56 strategies in all, this work is present in every school, from ventilation upgrades and foodservice supplies to WINN teachers, elementary counselors, social workers, school nurses, and community partners that serve our students. Below are a few highlights of what is happening now through ARP; you can find the latest updates at spps.org/ARP, which is updated regularly with new information.
Happening in March:
- Hiring school social workers, research analysts to progress monitor ARP work (please share with any prospective applicants)
- EDL+ kicking off and 6 elementary schools
- Flipside now offered at 5 additional middle schools
- Request for Proposals for community partners deadline is this Wednesday, March 16, at 2 p.m.
