SPPS Community Education, together with the National AfterSchool Association, celebrates Afterschool Professionals Appreciation Week April 19-23, 2021! We recognize, appreciate and advocate for those who work with young people during out-of-school hours. In SPPS Community Education, this includes Discovery Club, Flipside and Youth Enrichment. 

This year, we especially want to acknowledge the SPPS Community Education department for facilitating the Essential Kids Care program for the past 12 months. This program provided full-day in-person school-age care for the families of essential workers in St. Paul. THANK YOU to all the staff who contributed effort and energy to this unique and necessary program! 

We encourage everyone to join us this week in thanking the afterschool professionals in their lives!
