To close out 2020, a year of incredible heartache and challenges, I would like to thank each and every one of our Saint Paul Public Schools educators and staff members. It is difficult to find the words to express the many reasons I am grateful for and proud of your work. The ability to work together under rapidly changing conditions, and the unprecedented ways we have been forced to meet the needs our students, is nothing short of incredible. 

As we enter winter break, I urge each of you to find time for yourselves, your families and all of your loved ones, be it in person or virtually. I am looking forward to the new year. There will undoubtedly continue to be challenges to overcome, and I know that we will. There is also a sense of hope on the horizon. I stand with the Saint Paul community in acknowledging your truly remarkable commitment to our students and families.
