Dear SPPS Colleagues,

Last Tuesday, our community's commitment to education was reflected in this year's school board election. Join me in congratulating our new board of education members Jessica Kopp, Director-Elect and Chauntyll Allen, Director-Elect and re-elected board members Zuki Ellis, Chair and Steve Marchese, Vice-Chair. I know they are eager and ready to serve our students, families and staff over the next four years. Their terms will begin in January. 

Also, I want to remind staff that the 2019 Budget Survey is now live, and I encourage all employees to take advantage of this opportunity to let us know about your funding priorities for Saint Paul Public Schools. 

Please take a few minutes to complete the survey by Nov. 26, 2019. The results will be used to inform how the District conducts community engagement around the budget and will help identify focus areas that the community values. The results will also be shared with the public in January.
