Although the weather was threatening for much of the week, many SPPS schools were not deterred in their Fall Walk/Bike to School Day celebrations. Schools participated through:

• holding remote bus drops & all-school walks
• classrooms going out to walk throughout the school day
• promoting the day and encouraging students and families to walk or bike

Participating schools included Hazel Park Prep, Randolph Heights, Open World Learning, Capitol Hill Magnet, L'Etoile du Nord, Phalen Lake, Highwood Hills, Chelsea Heights, and Crossroads

The spirit of the day was felt even at non-student sites, like 360 Colborne, where some 20 staffers biked or walked and then kept up their physical activity with activities like yoga, corn hole toss, and riding the blender bike out on the front lawn.
