American Indian Month Resources from the SPPS Indian Education Program Resource Room

The SPPS Indian Education Program Resource Room contains materials available for check out and cultural items that promote knowledge regarding the unique political, sovereign, cultural, traditional and spiritual values of American Indian Nations. 

A list of items located in the SPPS Indian Education Program Resource Room can be found by viewing the in the SPPS Library Catalog by selecting Center for Equity and Culture as the location and Indian Education Program @CASS as the sublocation. Materials may be checked out by staff and students. Intra-district mail may be used for most Indian Education Program materials (excluding Kits). You may set up an appointment with the Indian Education Program Clerk at 651-293-5191 or elizabeth.saunby@spps.org to check out materials outside of normal school hours.  Please contact the Indian Education Program Clerk at least one day ahead of when you would like to check out material. Let us know what materials you are interested in ahead of time so that way we can have the items laid out for you to select from.
