Central Donations Opportunities

Thank you for investing in your child’s school! Public education is wonderful, but we also know that there aren’t enough resources to support all the opportunities we want to provide for our kids. You have many options for where you can make investments and we want to make it easy for you to invest in your child's education. Below, you will see a list of all the parent support organizations that work TOGETHER to make Central HS excellent. Please give as generously as you can!

Parent Advisory Council

Goal: $70,000

Description:We are your Central High School Parent Advisory Council (PAC) and we are asking for your support. PAC has a campaign once a year to raise money to fund our annual budget. Your gift to the PAC supports the whole school - students, staff, and classrooms. Every single gift, no matter the amount, is important and appreciated.

Sports Boosters

Goal: $50,000 

Description: We need your help! Gifts to the All Sports Boosters provide support for all student athletes. This year we are raising dollars for much needed coaching staff, the purchase and replacement of equipment and the ongoing need for uniforms, things that can’t be funded by the athletic budget alone. Gifts to All Sports Boosters help support our athletic programs, promote school and community spirit and most importantly support our student athletes! You can also choose to support a specific sport or debate team by adding a note in PayPal or sending a check with the team name in the memo line to:

Music Boosters

Goal: $50,000

Description: Your donation dollars help make music accessible to all students and support student growth and retention in the music programming at Central High School. This year we are purchasing new choir robes and some much needed instruments. Your support also provides funds for private music lessons for students, guest teaching artists, commissions for new music and travel scholarships for students

Theater Boosters

Goal: $20,000

Description: 

(1)  Please support the Central Theater Boosters’ general fund, which covers producing three shows each year at Central.  The cost to obtain the rights and put on each production is well over $5,000.
(2)  Please consider contributing as well to our campaign for new wireless microphones.  The quote we have gotten is approximately $45,000+ for 24 theatre-specific microphones. More details are available on our GiveMN campaign page.

MinuteBots

Goal: $25,000

Description: Your donations to the robotics team help us pay tournament registration fees (a typical fee is $5,000), buy tools and parts for the robot, and laptops for the programming team.
