This is my eleventh year at Central High School teaching Spanish! I feel so fortunate to be at Central because of the vast opportunities it has in foreign language learning and travel. I am proud to announce that we plan to offer a weekend trip November 9th-12th, 2017 to Concordia Language Villages immersion camp called El Lago del Bosque. Students will be immersed in Spanish 24/7 and also will be learning about Hispanic cultures.    

My colleagues and students are exceptional people.  A major part of my philosophy of teaching is to foster a cohesive community in order to encourage maximum potential in the classroom.  Students participate in group work, presentations, skits, technology integration and more!  I want students to use Spanish in real life situations in the community as well. Spanish Day at the MN Zoo is yet another opportunity for students in level 3 to witness their peers in level 4 give presentations about the animals.  Please encourage your children to participate in these events this school year...¡Gracias! Students will use their Schoology account in order to keep updated on all course materials and due dates.
