Here at Central we have a mixture of experienced science teachers, everyone of us has had field experience of some sort.  My experience comes

from the animal side of things, spending my summers teaching Ecology at the Minnesota Zoo!  I've also had experience training dolphins in Minnesota and Cancun, Mexico, raising sea otters at the MN zoo, and taking care of wolves, bears, fox, bobcats, and New Guinea Highland dogs at the Wildlife Science Center in Forest Lake.

 

At Central I am starting

my 6th year of full time teaching and couldn't be more excited!!  The science department understands how teens learn and work together as a team to create interesting and engaging science lessons for our students. The biology teachers at Central High School are trained in Advanced Placement, International Baccalaureate Middle Years Program (IB MYP) and IB Diploma teachers.  We are experts in the art of science teaching, plus using our awesome talents, skills and experience to plan, create and manage some really fun and rigorous biology lessons.
